Some of you may be wondering what a CAS card is. CAS stands for "clean and simple." I have to say that while I like clean lines on a card, very rarely do I keep it simple-I love embellishments too much! This week's Get Sketchy sketch, however, inspired me to create a CAS card. I love how it turned out!
I thnk that the key to making a great CAS card is choosing just the right embellishments because they are the focus of your card. When I saw this week's sketch, I immediately thought of buttons. I love DeNami's button collections-you can always find exactly what you want in those little bags! I had just the right sentiment to use with them, too, courtesy of my Lawn Fawn stamps.
Hope you can join us for this week's Get Sketchy Challenge! You can see the sketch HERE, along with this week's prize from Card Cafe. I seriously want this week's prize, lol! Adorable embellishments, I tell you, and if you check out the link you'll know that this Etsy shop's owner is a sweetheart, too. :)
Oh, I almost forgot! Don't forget to check out the Design Team Call at Get Sketchy! (It's posted in the left sidebar.) I can't believe it's already been 6 months and time for another set of designers. This term has just flown by!
