Oops-New {ippity} to Share!

Oh my gosh-I just realized that I forgot to share all my projects with you from {ippity}'s March release!  My to-do list is so long that I sometimes "forget" to look at it-it's too scary! LOL  Here are some projects that I created using the new {ippity} stamps for March:

I just love this one-such a whimsical stamp and she looks great colored with Copics!  Lots of glittery, princess accents, too. :)

This is a fun set, too!  I knew as soon as I opened it that I wanted to pair it with these "groovy" papers from Momenta's Free to be Me collection.

This last one was a really cute set, too-I love that {ippity} is now offering Itty bitty sets!  This was my first time inking over the Spellbinders dies, too-I think I have a new favorite technique!

You can get all of these sets HERE on the Unity website.  Just scroll down until you see me picture, click "Choose" and start shopping for {ippity} AND Unity stamps!  Plus, there is a HUGE SALE going on right now, too!

Some Spring Cards...

I got to play a little bit today with some new stamps and my March Counterfeit Kit.  I struggled a bit with these colors, and I'm not quite sure that I was successful.  Getting inky made me happy, though!  Here are the 4 cards that I made today-but I still have a ton of paper in my kit that I want to use up!  I see a few more blue and yellow cards being created before the weekend is over. :)

This card uses some older stamp images from Hero Arts and Art Impressions.  My wonderful sister-in-law, Patti (the one who got me hooked on stamping a few years ago), recently passed all of her stamping supplies along to a few lucky recipients.  This is a thank you that I made for her using some of those stamps.

I am in love with this little bunny stamp from Unity and Jillibean Soup's "Chicken Dumpling".  Isn't he sweet?  This is a super-simple CAS card that used just a few scraps of patterned paper from my kit.

I'm not quite sure about this card.  I think it needs a "pop" of color somewhere.  What do you think?  I think it just may be a bit too much blue for me.  I love the white lace over the kraft, however.  To make the kraft border, I traced a blue die cut border from my kit onto kraft, trimmed it with scissors, then used a brass stencil to dry-emboss the edge.  You can see just a hint of it in the picture.  Adds a little "oomph". :)

This card is super bright and cheery.  I used a Hero Arts flower set and a "vintage" sentiment from PSX (another pressie from my SIL.)  The blue and green patterned paper on the bottom is actually a journaling box that was on the back of one of my kit papers.  It worked perfectly as flower stems!  I added some bling to the centers and a little notch to the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by today-and remember the Lily Pad Cards' Birthday Blog Hop starts tomorrow morning at 9 AM!  Lots of inspiration and goodies up for grabs!

My March Counterfeit Kit-Finally!

I put this kit together several weeks ago, but haven't even had a chance to take a photo or make anything with it! I have some time today, and I hope that I can pull a few projects together.
This month's inspiration kit is the March 2012 Kit from Birds of a Feather. This was a beautiful kit-I love the blue and yellow color scheme. I don't have many vintage supplies, however, so I took inspiration from the colors and also from the die cuts in the kit. My die cuts are from SEI and My Little Shoebox, and have very similar sentiments to the ones in the inspiration kit. I have a mix of papers from Momenta, My Little Shoebox, and SEI. Thank you to Bethany from the Counterfeit Kit Challenge for the dainty white lace that is also part of my kit this month! :)
I also won Jillibean Soup's "Chicken Dumpling" stamp kit from Unity Stamp Co., which I think will work great with my kit-I see some Easter cards happening today!
Be sure to stop back tomorrow-I am a stop on the Lily Pad Cards 1st Birthday Blog Hop! Over $300 in prizes will be given away, plus I have some BRAND NEW {ippity} blog candy up for grabs!

Counts as Fruit

Another sample using a new set from {ippity}'s March release coming out on Thursday, March 8th...this set is an Itty Bitty (my favorite!) If you LOVE this set, please visit the Unity website on Thursday to order! Only $6.50!!! Please remember to click on my picture on the Unity website to order this set as well as all of your favorite {ippity} stamp sets!

I paired the image with some pretty papers from Momenta's Let's Party Pyramid Pad.  I also colored white satin ribbon with a Copic marker to get exactly the right color to match my image.  It's one of my favorite tricks!

Happy Birthday Wishes

Just a quick share today using some patterned paper strips that I had leftover from a class. I also used this week's sketch from Chick Challenges {with ippity}. You can now use both {ippity} AND Unity stamps for the challenge, so I paired an {ippity} frame and "happy birthday" sentiment with a "wishes" stamp from Unity. They fit together perfectly! I love combining my sets like that-love getting more mileage from the stamps that I already have!

I have also been making a ton of new cards using the new {ippity} stamps that are coming out on thursday.  they are SO cute!  I can't wait to share them with you!  Here is a sneak of one of my projects using one of the new sets:

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!  Be sure to come back on Thursday to see all of my cards for the new release!
