Neopolitan Birthday Card

See...it IS possible to link everything to ice cream! :) I thought this was an appropriate name for this card because it features one of my favorite color combinations: pink, white and brown. (Otherwise known as strawberry, vanilla and chocolate. YUM!)
I was inspired by fellow design team member Jo Ann to use my sentiment as a background stamp. She used this technique on a graduation card recently and I knew I wanted to try it. I created my card based from chocolate brown cardstock. I stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment from THIS set repeatedly over my card front using Versamark watermark ink. I then cut a square window in the lower right corner of my card. For the cupcake image, I stamped the Cupcake Tower on white cardstock and colored with Bic Mark-It pens. I matted this image with pink cardstock and adhered it to the inside of my card, lining it up with the window. Finally, I finished the card with ribbon and a button. All supplies are courtesy of DeNami Design.
Still have some unpacking to do from this weekend's camping trip, plus I have a couple of finishing touches to add to projects. Busy afternoon, but I hope to relax tonight and watch Avatar!
