Happy Day, Happy Easter, Happy Everything!

Have you ever had one of those days where EVERYTHING just goes right? Today is one of those days for me. Actually, the past 24 hours. And I gotta tell ya, Denami Design has had everything to do with it! First of all, I found out yesterday that my "Bake Shoppe" card (from my last post) won the Denami Sketch Contest! I was so excited-that company is seriously generous with its prizes. Lots of new stamps, embossing powders, etc. And as if that wasn't enough, I found out today that I was chosen for the Denami Design Team! I was so excited-my daughter and I did a "happy dance"! Our two dogs wanted to join in (they LOVE happy dances!) so the four of us did a"happy dance" in the living room. Anyone who happened to peek in our windows would have been convinced that we were absolutely nuts!

I am sharing two of the cards that I made using stamps from Denami Design. The first one features a Mimi stamp-is she not THE most stylish gal out there? I paper-pieced the image using patterned papers from Bo Bunny that I received from another generous company, Northridge Media. (They sent me a goody box when one of my cards was published in Cards magazine.) I finished the card with a fabulous red ribbon sash (also by Denami Designs.)

The second card is so different, although it also features an image, ribbon, and button from Denami Design. After making my egg-shaped card base, I cut a circle from the card front and nested my image inside, so that it is still visible when you open the card. This card features new papers from SEI and Recollections pearls from Michael's.

I am off to do some scrapbooking (that's right-an actual layout!) for the Imaginisce blog. It's been ages since I did a layout...hopefully I can get back in the swing of things. (The new Lucy Bird paper from Imaginisce is adorable, so I'm sure it won't be too hard!)
Don't forget to check back tomorrow for my latest card for the Get Sketchy Challenge. I tried something new, and I was very pleased with the results!
